8th PLACE TROPHY

“Nothing Will Work Unless You Do” - Maya Angelou

Coach Monique's Message:

Quote for the year and it is truly paying off. We are super proud of the work that has been done thus far and are looking forward to a successful conclusion to the short course season in March. Hard work pays off, period.

We are embarking on new territory during our construction process.  This is NOT going to be hard, just different.  Everyone else in the swimming world that doesn’t live on an island has to travel to their pools.  We will do the same, we will embrace it in this next chapter. We tell the kids we can do hard things all the time, and I would not consider this hard in the grand scheme of things……Just different. It's not COVID, and we can do this.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have access to another facility while the Ray is under construction (thank you Jenette) for working so hard to make this happen.  This allows us more water time, better lane space, use of blocks and cooler water temps.  It's all good and I'm looking forward to a prosperous 2025!!!

Meet Highlights:
Washington State Senior Championships, WKCAC

686 athletes from all over WA state competed at this Championship meet. BISC with a team of 18 swimmers finished 15th out of 30 teams. Placing highest  for BISC was Tessa Hurguy who was 3rd in the 1650 & 6th in the 500 free.
