PN NCSSL Championship Meet Re-Cap

This meet at the Snohomish Aquatic Center was specially designed for swimmers who did not yet have PNS Champs times and were younger or new to the sport. It was a 10 lane, 25 yard venue. BISC did very well with the 20 swimmers we brought placing 3rd out of 9 teams and brought home a trophy for the trophy case! 

Seizing the opportunity and placing in the top 3, earning medals were: June Brown (event champion 50 Brst & event champion as a member of the 200 mixed 200 free relay) Otis Brown (event champion as member of the 100 mixed medley relay & the mixed 100 Free relay) Everett Crawford (Event Champion in the 25 Fly, 100 Medley relay & 100 free relay, 2nd place 25 Fr & 25 Brst) Ruby Dennison (event champion as a member of the mixed 200 Fr relay), Campbell Feldman (Event champion 25 Brst, 25 Fly, and as a member of the 100 medley relay & 100 free relay) Camille Ferris (event champion as member of the 100 medley relay), Poppy Freniere (2nd place 50 Brst), Abigail Gavigan (2nd place as a member of the 100 medley relay & 100 fr relay, 3rd place 50 Fr, 50 Brst & 50 Back), Jay Kowren (2nd place 50 fly, 50 Bk, 100 Medley relay & 100 Fr relay & 3rd 50 Brst),Cohen Maass (Event Champion as member of the mixed 200 Fr relay) Zoe McFarland (2nd as a member of the 100 Medley relay & 100 Fr relay), Max Morrison (2nd as a member of the 100 medley relay & 100 Fr relay), Rowan Shand (Event Champion 25 Fr, 25 Bk & mixed 100 Medley relay, 2nd 25 Fly), Harrison Younger ( event champion as member of the 200 free relay & 2nd 50 Fly)

There were also ribbons 4th-8th. Earning ribbons were: June (4th 100 IM), Max (4th 100 Fr) and Harley (4th 25 Fly). Note: not everyone who went to the meet placed in the top 6 but all had a great time competing, cheering and challenging themselves with most leaving the meet with a new personal best time. It was well worth the ferry trip. Well done Bluefins! Medals & ribbons are in your swim folder at the pool.
