Saturday Practice Schedule

Due to most swimmers attending the February Challenge, we will only be holding practice for Senior & Accelerate groups. No Practice for Explore, Discover, Challenge or Senior 2. Good luck at the meet!

 

ByLaw Change

On January 30th, we held our annual elections meeting and presented changes to the Bylaws. These changes past by a majority vote of quorum. To see the proposed bylaws and a summary of changes (see Version 2), please click here. These changes set the organization up more similarly to a corporation and should bring much stability to the direction of the program. In addition to the proposed changes in the link above, we have added a protection clause for the membership, requiring an annual "Vote of Confidence" in the current board. It allows membership to step in and cause all members (except President) to have their positions vacated and then revoted on by the swim team family.

 

Welcome New Board Members

Along with our vote to update the Bylaws, we have elected two new members to the Board of Directors. We would like to thank Nermeen Mikhail and Mary Forsberg for all their hard work and continued service and welcome Dan Limberg and Ed Stinson to the WEST Board.
