WEST Weekly - Welcome Back!
Welcome back everyone to the first official week of WEST practices and fall schedule! It’s great to see how much the kids have all grown over the summer.
Parent Meeting – Wednesday, Sept 10th - 7pm @ WEST
We will be holding an informational parent meeting next Wednesday. We strongly encourage all new parents to attend and hope most of the returning parents can also be there.
Team Fitting – Saturday, Sept 13th – 9am @ WEST
Northwest Swim Shop will be coming to WEST on Saturday, Sept 13th to do our annual team fitting and equipment order. Swimmers are required to have the mandatory training equipment listed in the registration packet, but all other team apparel is optional.
Sponsor Change
The team has explored other sponsorship options and we decided we will be switching to Arena. Arena has a better selection of racing suits, including three different levels of suit giving parents and swimmers more affordable options. Arena has a great reputation for high quality. We ask that as you replace worn out equipment, you take advantage of the offers we get from Arena as a sponsored team.
Open Water Swim – Sept 20th
Anyone interested in competing at the “Last Gasp of Summer Open Water Swim” please indicate so on your meet declaration form (or let the office know if you already handed it in).
Team BBQ – Saturday, Sept 27th – 2-5pm @ WEST
We will hold our annual start-of-the-season cook-out on September 27th. All families are asked to bring one food/drink item to share and the team will provide hot dogs and hamburgers. If your last name begins with:
A-C: Condiments
C-I: Side / Salad
J-o: Dessert
P-Z: Single serve beverages
