WEST Weekly

Dear WEST folk,

 
A huge thanks to all families who volunteered their time this past weekend at our February AGI - we had a great meet with lots of fast swims and new qualifiers for the championship meets coming up in March.  Congrats to all!
 
We are hosting a Last Chance Meet at WEST this weekend for kids swimming to make Regional and/or Sectional cuts.  Please see the practice and meet schedules below so you know what's going on at the pool this weekend!
 
 
Weekend Practice Schedule
 
There will not be practice for Challenge, Accelerate, Senior, or Elite on Friday, March 4th.  Discover, Explore and PC2 practice will run on normal schedule.
 
For swimmers in Challenge and Accelerate competing at Regionals, practice on Saturday will be from 7-9am with Coach Bryan and Sr group.  Saturday Elite practice will be 6-9am.
 
There will not be lessons or any other team or PreComp practices on Saturday, March 5th.  March weekend lessons begin on Sunday, March 6th.
 
 
Weekend Meet Schedule
 
Friday: Warmups at 330pm, meet starts at 430pm
 
Saturday: Warmups at 9am, meet starts at 10am

Montana Meet Info, June 23rd-26th
 
We're starting to get plans together to attend the Firecracker Classic again this year.  Last year was a great meet and a fun time for everyone, and we hope to have even more swimmers go this year!  This is a team travel trip, so swimmers 13 and over stay with teammates at the hotel, but we also encourage swimmers 11-12 to come along with families to race at a new pool with the older kids.  More info to come soon!
