WEST Weekly

Dear Parents, Swimmers and Members,

What beautiful weather we’ve had, can’t believe it is still April! As we get closer to summer, things will only get busier from here, so make sure you are staying up-to-date.

April Showers Meet – THIS WEEKEND @ WEST

We are co-hosting a dual meet with Gold’s on Saturday and Sunday this weekend. The pool will be CLOSED at 12:30pm both days. Lessons and Pre-Comp will run as normally scheduled. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Saturday (4/23) Practice Changes

Explore & Discover: NO PRACTICE – everyone should be swimming at the meet

Challenge & Accelerate: (Only those NOT swimming at the meet) 10-11:30am

Senior & Elite: 7-10am

Pasco Meet – Declarations Open Again

Since we have had to pull out from the Montana Meet, we have re-opened declarations for Pasco. Anyone that originally said “no” can now change their mind and declare "yes".  Declarations will remain open until April 30th. We have reserved a hotel room block at the Spring Hill Suites Marriot in Kennewick, click here to reserve your room.

Summer Jobs @ McCollum Pool

Snohomish County Parks and Recreation is now accepting applications for the upcoming Summer 2016 season at the McCollum Park Pool. Those interested should apply online at:  www.snoco.org

Saturday, MAY 21st - SPRING CLEAN-UP DAY

More specific information will come out soon but we are planning to hold our annual Spring Cleaning Day on Saturday, May 21st. We aim to clear out behind the back wall of the building to make room for replacing some siding. We also plan to repair the curb in front of the building. There will be a job sign-up released once we work out the rest of the details.

Saturday, JUNE 25th – ANNUAL TEAM AWARDS BANQUET

We are planning our annual barbecue at WEST to honor our graduating seniors, Swim-A-Thon winners, and other team recognition awards. We ask that everyone brings a dish to share and will release more information as we get closer to the date.
