Dear West Swim Folk,

I hope everyone is staying dry these past few weeks. Thank you for your patience with our emergency closure on Monday due to the light circuits shorting out.

 

Olympian Clinic – THIS FRIDAY & SATURDAY!

Kara Lynn Joyce will be on-deck for practices this weekend. She is holding a meeting for ALL PARENTS on Friday 5:45-6:30pm and a general group talk and meet & greet on Saturday at 11:30am. Click here to read more and view the entire schedule.

 

Distance & Pentathlon Meet – Thank you

Thanks to all that participated and volunteered at last weekend’s meet. We had some great time drops and the meet ran smoothly with all our new volunteers helping out. Great job WEST family!

                                                                  

Pool Closed NEXT Thursday & Friday for Repairs

We will be replacing the leaking skylights and repairing the latest broken block anchor on Thursday and Friday next week. Here is the schedule:

 

Thursday 10/27:

5-6:30am – Senior Elite & Senior Group Practice

5:30-7am – OPEN for Lap Swim and normal High School Practices

8am – POOL CLOSED. NO PROGRAMS ALL DAY.

 

Friday 10/28:

POOL CLOSED. No Practice - Explore, Discover, or Pre-Comp.

2:30pm – Normal Jackson High School Practice

4pm – Senior Circuit Warm Ups (Senior Elite swimmers)

7-9pm – Practice – Challenge, Accelerate & Senior

 

WEST Monster Mash – Halloween Party – Saturday 10/29

In place of practice times, we are going to do a Halloween fun swim meet and party. We will ask each family to bring an item to share and will cook pancakes for the swimmers. More details will be sent out.

6-8:30am Senior Elite practice

8:30-9am Meet Warm-Ups for all other swimmers

9am Fun Meet Start

10:30 Food in the Weight Room
