Thank you to everyone that made the trek out to Bainbridge Island this weekend for their Invite Meet. We had many best times and several new qualifiers for the upcoming Age Group Invite we host at Kamiak next weekend.

Feb Age Group Invite – WEST Hosted Meet @ Kamiak – NEXT Fri-Sun 24th-26th
Our next opportunity to volunteer is coming up next weekend when we host the Age Group Invite at Kamiak High School. This meet is open to swimmers with Gold Time Standards, but all WEST parents can work regardless if your swimmer is participating in the meet.
 
Letter Writing Party & Breakfast – Mar 4th
We will be holding our annual Swim-A-Thon Letter Writing party on Saturday, Mar 4 th. More info will come out soon.
 
More Summer Meets Added to Calendar
We are working out the details to the rest of our Long Course schedule. PNS recently released the first set of meet assignments and we are waiting on the next. We will continue to update the events page as we receive more meet information. REMINDER: meet declaration deadlines are now different for each meet. Be sure to check back regularly and declare by the deadline if you cannot attend. If you fail to declare by the deadline, we will assume you are attending and bill your account accordingly.
 
NEW PROGRAM @ WEST – High School Conditioning Group
Starting Mon Feb 27 th we will be offering a conditioning group for swimmers over 13 to better prepare them for high school season. This group will practice 2:30-4pm Monday-Thursday and the cost is $150 per month. Email the office if you are interested.
 
Sounders Game – Mar 31st
The Sounders are doing a “Swim Night” at their game on Fri, Mar 31 st. Swimmers can purchase discounted tickets and this will be a fun social opportunity outside of the pool. More info can be found on this flyer by clicking here.
