WEST Weekly

Dear WEST community,
Welcome to summer and happy Fourth of July! The pool is closed and we aren’t running any programs, so everyone have a fun and safe time with family and friends.

WEST represented at World Championship Trials Last Week
WEST swimmer Jon Cook represented us at US Nationals & World Championship Trials last week. This meet served as the selection meet for the US National and Junior National Teams that will represent USA at Fina World Championships later this summer. Jon made finals in his 200 breaststroke, an outstanding feat considering the pressure of swimming against Olympians and the best swimmers in the country. With most of teams at the meet being college and university programs, this meet was great exposure for Jon and the entire WEST program.

Girls HS season will have already started, so we are securing pool time at McCollum Pool.
