Emergency: Fire at WEST Today

We had a small fire at the pool today and at this point in time, it is unclear what the impact will be to our programs.

TOMORROW (Mon 11/27) – All morning programs (High School practices, Lap Swim, Water Aerobics, Masters) are CANCELLED. Afternoon LESSONS will also be CANCELLED. It is unclear whether we will be able to hold club team practice but at a minimum, we would like to run dryland for the older kids.

We are working with our insurance program and multiple contractors to minimize the shut-down time. We will update everyone with more information as we learn more.

I am very proud of how well our staff responded and thanks to their quick judgement and immediate action, much greater damage was avoided, and no one was injured.
