Good Evening WEST families,
WEST is looking forward to the holidays and we are all ready to go with our brightly lit foyer! A huge shout out to all our hard working athletes that swam this weekend at Nationals, Divisionals, and Husky Invite! Many of our swimmers we going for cuts and our coaching staff was very happy with WEST swam as a whole. Make sure to stay healthy & warm this season by cozying up to your electronic device as we go through this week’s news items.
PNS Age Group Champs & Junior Nationals
Good luck to our swimmers attending PNS AG Champs @ KCAC as well as Junior Nationals in Austin, Texas! Junior Nationals begin tomorrow and Champs begins on Friday. Safe travels to everyone!
To any parents or officials that are in need of a hotel room for either Age Group or Senior Champs, please contact Coach Tim at [email protected]. Our friends at Wave Aquatics has extended an offer for anyone that could not find rooms.
We are also in need of timers for Prelims at Champs for Friday’s sesion. If there are any parents that are in need of service hours, please contact our wonderful team parent Jasmine Fang for more information. Meet information can be found on PNS.org.
Practice Changes this Week:
Please note that this applies to ALL team groups including PreComp. Please refer to our website/registration packet for normal practice times.
Thursday 12/6:
Champs: 6:00 - 7:30.
Non Champs: regular practice.
Friday 12/7, Saturday 12/8:
Champs: No practice, @ meet.
Non Champs: regular practice
Food Drive @ WEST
We will be collecting unopened non-perishable items for the Mill Creek Food bank. Currently they are in the biggest need of: Pasta sauce, jelly, baked beans, canned meats (other than tuna), sugar, oil, cereal, pancake mix, syrup, fruit juices and coffee. Personal items: toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, diapers and baby wipes
Our donation box is located in the front office foyer. Donations will be brought in on December 17th. Tis the season of joy and giving!
Lost & Found Year End Donation
Our final lost and found donation run for this year will be on December 17th. Please take some time on these weeks leading up to our donation day to see if any lost items belong to you. Our lost and found is located on the pool deck, directly to the right of the entrance.
Green Room / Children Area Policy
All items in the Green Room have been purchased by WEST so patrons can use at their leisure. It has been brought to our attention that items in the Green Room including toys and the back wall have been vandalized with permanent marker which cannot be cleaned off. The Green Room Area is a community space that provides parents and children with seating, desk space and toys. With that being said, the space must be respected and kept neat by all who use it/ items in it. All children MUST be supervised by parent/ guardian at all times.
If you have any gently used toys or children’s books that you would like to donate to the Green Room, WEST will be accepting donations for the month of December!
WEST Lessons Gift Certificates
In need of a holiday gift for an inspiring swimmer in your life? WEST is offering gift certificates for lessons that can be purchased at the front office.
