BISC Invite CANCELLED, NWAC to replace
The meet at Bainbridge filled FAST and we are instead attending the NWAC Blue Heron Invite on February 9 - 10. We have updated the website to reflect this, please refer to the meet information at PNS here.
Meet Attendance Clarification
When creating the meets for this spring, there was an error on our website email system that we would like to clarify. As noted at the beginning of the year, please DECLINE from meets that you will not be able to attend. If you are attending a meet, you do not need to confirm, as our coaches will automatically register your swimmer. The auto-generated emails stated a process for confirming to meets that WEST does not use to streamline meet entries. We are looking into if we are able to change the automated message that is sent out to families when declarations are available. Spring meet declarations close TODAY!
No Practice Schedule changes for this weekend 01/11 - 01/12. All groups will run as normal. Please refer to our normal year round schedule posted here.
Late Spring Travel Meets
WEST is looking forward to a team travel trip to Arizona for the Cactus Classic May 24. This is a qualifying meet, so swimmers will need to make preposted time standards. The hosting team has not announced this year’s meet information yet - but we will announce as soon as it is posted. To get a rough estimate of qualifying standards, please see last year’s meet information. This meet is for 13 and overs, or by invitation.
12 and under swimmers are expected to swim at the Tri City Open in Pasco, WA the following weekend (May 31st.) To clarify any confusion, the Pasco meet is still set to run as planned. The hosting team (Tri City Channel Cats) have not released their meet information yet. WEST coaching staff will announce any official changes to meets.

We have blocked out hotel rooms by our wonderful team mom Janet Kim. Here are the hotel booking reservations. We would ideally like to have the meet information before booking reservations, but if you are unsure of which meet you should attend, please speak with your coach leading up to spring.

This will be important tentative dates for the spring at WEST that we would like our parents aware of. Any changes will be made as far in advance as possible and announced via email. We will add these to our online calendar when we have secured the dates, as well as announce more information as the dates approach.

Seasonal Conditioning
Our Seasonal Conditioning program will return Monday, February 18 for off season high school swimmers. This group will meet Monday - Thursday, from 2:30 - 4:00pm. We will also be looking to add weekends at this time as well. For more information, please contact Coach Tim.
