Becoming a USA Swimming Official!
Hello WESTonians!
Want to be more involved in your child’s sport of swimming? Or do you wish to gain more knowledge about competitive swimming and put it to good use? Well you’re in luck - as there will be officials clinics being held right here at the Mill Creek Community Association building! (the building right next to WEST across the parking lot) Becoming an official is an opportunity to become more involved with the competitive swimming community at the local level as well as learn more about your child's sport.
WEST is always looking for helpful parents that want to make an impact in their swim community - as swim meets cannot run without these dedicated, hard-working individuals.We are in need of these parent volunteers that are not only helping WEST run swim meets, but they're also helping Pacific Northwest Swimming have the ability to run the meets that we do.
Take some time at the beginning of the season to review the following information regarding becoming an official. It’s also an easy way to take care of service hours! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to some of our team's officials:
