Welcome to another week at WEST everyone! We have a lot going on so hold on tight and lets dive right in!

Northwest Coaches Clinic Recap

This past weekend, WEST’s coaching staff had the opportunity to participate in the first annual Northwest Coaches Clinic at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA. The goal of this clinic is to create a collaborative environment where coaches from all over the area were free to discuss, ask questions, and learn from each other’s experiences to further develop a positive, elite competitive swimming community in the northwest.

Head coaches from multiple pools lead talks and stroke clinics with the coaches, including WEST’s own Coach Nick who tackled breastroke and the importance of body line and power.

Thank you to everyone that made it a thought provoking weekend!

Volunteers NEEDED

WEST is in search of Meet Announcers, Computer / Timing system operators, and Clerk of Course personnel.  All positions will receive training prior to running the position independently. These positions are only for parents who have been with the team for at least one year.

Stalker Farms After Senior Circuit #3

Senior & Senior Elite are welcome to attend the haunted corn maze at Stalker Farms with the other teams after the meet concludes. Please see previous email from Coach Emily for more information & tickets! This is also open to swimmers from other teams that are attending the meet.
