Upcoming Stroke and Turn Clinic

Tim Senholtz

Hello WESTonian Parents,

Now is a great opportunity to join a great team of WEST and Pacific Northwest Officials.  The next Stroke and Turn Clinic is this Sunday January 5th at Snohomish Aquatics Center (9:30-12:30) – email RSVP to Aline Bensen.  No swimming experience needed, just an interest in becoming more involved in your child’s sport of swimming.  WEST will reimburse you for the annual registration requirements.

WEST is always looking for helpful parents that want to make an impact in their swim community - as swim meets cannot run without these dedicated, hard-working individuals. We are in need of these parent volunteers that are not only helping WEST run swim meets, but they're also helping Pacific Northwest Swimming have the ability to run the meets that we do.

Take some time at the beginning of the year to become an official. It’s also an easy way to take care of service hours!  WEST needs parents to progress through the officials positions (stroke & turn, starter and referee) so that we can continue to have the flexibility of hosting meets (internal, dual, divisional, regional, …).  Even if you are only able to officiate at the sessions your children are swimming, we appreciate your help.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to some of our team's officials:
