WEST Weekly

 

As many people already know, USA Swimming has recommended a ban on all swim meets for the next 30 days. This means all championship meets in our area have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. We understand many parents have questions, and we can ensure you that WEST coaching staff will answer them as soon as we are able to.

 

WEST will continue to move forward with operations as best as we can while taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our swimmers, staff and community. 

 

WEST will run 'race practices' this weekend. These races will be treated as the culmination of our short course season. Swimmers that attend these practices will treat this as their big race, and should shave / wear tech suits accordingly. Times will not be sanctioned by USA Swimming, however, this will give the swimmers the opportunity to complete their season on a high note. Get excited and show your team spirit!

 

Practice times are as follows:

 

Friday, March 13th

Senior & Senior Elite: 3:00 - 5:00pm

Embark & Explore: 5:00 - 6:30pm

Discover, Challenge, & Accelerate: 6:30 - 8:45pm

 

NO EVENING MASTERS PRACTICE
