Regarding Coach Emily

Hello WEST Parents,

A coach in PNS has shown symptoms of Coronavirus within the last 24 hours, and is self quarantining even though they have been informed they do not qualify for a test. 

Coach Emily was present at a meeting that this coach also attended last week when they were not showing symptoms. Coach Emily is not showing signs and symptoms of the flu herself, however she will be self quarantining through this weekend to self monitor for any signs and symptoms out of caution.

WEST coaches have already taken actions to eliminate direct contact with swimmers that could spread the virus (no high fives, etc.) We are taking this extra measure of self quarantining Coach Emily to ensure safety throughout our community.

If you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive, or show signs and symptoms yourself, please contact your health care professional. WEST will continue to monitor our coaches, swimmers, and employees on a daily basis during this time.
