Good Afternoon WEST,

We are coming into the end of April and WEST has been preparing to reopen the past several weeks. We have been closely following the news in regards to how and when it will be possible to get our programs up and running again and will announce a plan as soon as we are able to. Read on for this week’s news:

Zoom Meetings

Parents - please remember to pass along Zoom information to your swimmers. We enjoy being able to meet weekly, and strive to have 100% attendance if possible. If parents have questions or concerns regarding Zoom meetings, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your swimmer’s group coach. If your swimmer has an email that you would like to add to your account so that your swimmer can receive emails directly from WEST, please email [email protected] to update.

WEST Safe Sport Recognition - Please Complete

As a reminder, WEST is working towards becoming a Safe Sport Recognized program and in order to accomplish that we need parents and athletes to complete an online course. We have also added a page to our website with information about Safe Sport here.

Alternatively, parents and athletes can also attend a Zoom Meeting hosted by USA Swimming to acquire credit for completing the courses. A separate email will be sent out to families with more information.

Meet Cancellations Update

All swim meets through May 31st, 2020 have been cancelled per USA Swimming's direction. Obviously the situation is touch and go and we will update our families as soon as information is announced.
