Good Evening WEST,
In accordance with Washington’s plan for reopening, WEST would be slated to open in Phase 3. If all goes well, that would mean a late June reopening. There are many things that are still up in the air, but we are working to get our community the most up to date information. We appreciate the love and support we have been receiving from our members and community during this time.
WEST Duathlon Fundraiser
Our fundraiser is live now and everyone can join! Just create a Strava account to log your exercise for the month of May and join our WEST Coast Aquatics club. Proceeds raised will directly benefit WEST Coast Aquatics, and a portion will be donated to Food Lifeline to help those in need in the Greater Seattle Area. Summer Meet Cancellations Continued
WEST will be updating our Events page as more information is released by PNS and USA Swimming to will reflect the following cancellations:

Boise Training Trip / Swim Meet
Long Course Champs
PNS is looking into alternative options, such as camps, etc. to focus on bringing swimmers together as we all ease back into competition. We are working on our program schedules for when we are allowed to return and are planning to continue to hold practices through the month of August this year. We will send more information out as plans are finalized.
Swimmer’s Performance App
Parents of swimmers from Discover, Challenge, Accelerate, Senior and Senior Elite should have received login information from Engineered Sports for their own Swimmer's Performance App. In addition to the Zoom weekly workouts, these are designed to have little to no weights involved for our younger swimmers and they can substitute cans from the pantry or water bottles.
If you are having any issues with receiving emails, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we want to make sure everyone is getting the most out of their dryland. Swimmers in Explore and Embark will continue to follow along with Coach Margaret’s plan.
