Washington Pools Greenlit to Reopen...

West Community, 

As many of you are aware, the Governor allowed pools to open this past week, a much welcomed surprise for WEST. 

We are now reworking our plan for reopening starting with reheating the pool water. We are holding Employee Safety Training sessions in small groups on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of next week. The board is discussing protocols and procedures, and we are aiming to open sometime next week. We want to make sure we are not only conforming to the newly enacted requirements but allowing our community to feel safe with our approach to returning. We don’t want to do it incorrectly and end up closed for any longer or put anyone at risk. 

We will continue to hold our Open Water practices for Monday and hope to have more information on reopening in the next several days. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
