Hello WEST,
We are on our final week of the 2019 - 2020 season, and what an interesting season it has been. We have worked hard as an organization and as a community to ensure excellence and safety for not only our swimmers but everyone who comes through WEST’s doors. We are incredibly proud of the perseverance and work ethic of our swimmers, families, staff, and coaches to keep the mission of WEST strong and alive throughout these past few months. We hope to see our community's familiar faces around the pool deck in the 2020 - 2021 season and beyond.

Registration Reminder
Online registration is live for our 2020-2021 Season! Online registration will be closing at the end of August, so make sure to reserve your spot for the 2020-2021 season for our returning swimmers. New swimmers / Late registrations will need to contact the front office.

Season End / Start Dates
The Club Team’s last practice will be Friday 8/28. (NO PRACTICE 8/29 or 8/30) and Summer Team ends Sunday 8/30. Fall pool schedule, Club Team, Pre-Comp and SwimFit, swim lessons, and other operations will all plan to start back up Tuesday 9/8. Click here to view our fall schedule.
WEST CLOSED 8/31 - 9/7
WEST will be closed Monday, August 31st through Labor Day Weekend. We will reopen Tuesday, September 8th.
Coach Margaret Leaving WEST
We are sad to announce that this will be Coach Margaret’s last season as WEST’s Development Coach, as she and her husband will be moving down to Houston, Texas to begin their next life adventure. Coach M had sent out a personal email to our club team members this morning - please check your emails to read the full message.
Coach M has been an integral member to WEST’s coaching staff for many years, focusing on the development of our youngest competitive swimmers. Margaret first started as a swim parent and became increasingly more involved with WEST by volunteering, officiating, working with the WEST’s clerical staff, and finally becoming a swim coach in 2014. She is known for her lively, exuberant spirit that brightens up not only the swimmers’ day, but also everyone’s around her.
Coach Keagan, who has been working closely with Margaret through the summer, will be stepping in to coach the Embark and Explore swimmers come fall. Our coaching staff will also be stepping in to help fill all of Margaret’s responsibilities.
WEST is proud to have had Margaret be part of our swim family for the past 15 years and we wish her and her family the best of luck in all their future endeavors.
