Team Caps
Team Swimmers will be given Caps this week on Friday, October 9. Please try to make sure your swimmer makes their practice to receive the cap of their choosing.
DIVERSITY VIDEO
Vox produced an amazing video regarding the forgotten wade-ins of the 1960’s Civil Rights Movement. It’s our duty to learn from our past so that we may continue to strive for a brighter future. Click the link here to watch.
Parent Zoom Call
Coach Tim has sent out a Zoom invite for our team parents; please refer to that email for Meeting details - and try to have at least one parent from each team household to be in attendance. Meeting will take place Saturday, October 10th, 1:00 - 2:00pm
The goal of this meeting is to cover general information for the upcoming year. In respect of everyone's time, we will not be answering any questions during the meeting, please email them in ahead of time.

WEST Female Lead Academy Confidence Course
We have a really great opportunity to take an online course about leadership for our 12 years and up girls! The Confidence Course is an 8-module course by world renowned Confidence Coach Christen Shefchunas designed specifically for female athletes. We would like ALL girls 12 and up on WEST to take part in this course. Having confidence is not only essential to being a great athlete, but also in all aspects of life!
This course is usually only offered on an exclusive basis. Our team is one of only a handful in the country to have access to this course, so make sure to take advantage of the special opportunity!

Lifeguard Class Opportunity at WEST - October 10 - 11
Our wonderful Lifeguard Instructor Mary Lou will be running a lifeguard class; it will be a blended learning class where the virtual online portion will need to be conducted prior to meeting in person. For the In Person Training, there is a limit to how many people can be in the class as it will MUST be following all reopening policies as well as social distancing.
Cost: $225.00
