Hello WEST Families,

Great job to all of our club team swimmers that competed at our first successfully sanctioned meet this season! We were ecstatic to see our parent volunteers on deck, as well as our friendly officials again :)  A huge thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers that were able to help make the meet run safely and smoothly!

We hope that this will be the first of many ‘meets’ held at WEST - our coaches are still fine tuning some of our procedures to ensure safety and efficiency, and we can’t wait for our next meet.

Swim Meet Schedule

We will update our Events page as meets are greenlit to be held. Some WEST programs may be affected, but we would like to keep changes to a minimum - we will announce any cancellations or changes to schedule as we approach these meets.

Practice Groups Wearing Masks to Lane

Following our meet, we have included an additional safety measure of asking our practice group swimmers to wear their swim mask to their lane. Many were given a plastic baggy this past weekend; our swimmers should take their mask of last before entering the pool & place it in their baggy for safe keeping. When exiting the pool, this is the first article they put on. Coaches are reminding their groups of this protocol when at practices - make sure your swimmer comes prepared!
