June 19-20th MEET CANCELLED - Call for New Officials

Our planned meet for June 19-20th is struggling to find enough officials and unfortunately we must cancel it. Being Father's Day we expect some scheduling conflicts but the real problem is we don't have enough new officials coming up. We continue to rely heavily on officials who no longer have swimmers in the program and its understandable scheduling conflicts are more common. If we do not get more officials trained, we will lose out on meet opportunities for our swimmers. We need people to commit to becoming officials when the next clinics are offered. I have posted multiple links below where clinic dates and information can be found. WEST will reimburse all fees associated with becoming an official, please see the reimbursement form below as well.

Due to canceling the June 19-20th Meet, we are adding a last-minute opportunity for Discover, Challenge and Accelerate swimmers to swim this weekend. We will be offering the 400 IM on Saturday and 500 Free on Sunday. The fastest 12 swimmers in each event will swim with Session #3 10am-12pm and the rest will swim 2:45-4:45pm. Same as our Meet Declarations, we will be entering ALL Discover, Challenge and Accelerate swimmers UNLESS parents tell us they cannot attend. If you wish to DECLINE PARTICIPATION please email Coach Bryan no later than 12pm (NOON) tomorrow.
