Hello WEST Families,

June is speeding up as we head into our summer season. I know many families may be sending inquiries into WEST - we appreciate the patience as we handle the high volume of emails regarding summer!  - please read the following announcements carefully:

Senior Meet THIS WEEKEND

Volunteer sign ups are open. With the addition of Accelerate, Challenge, and Disco swimmers, meet timeline is currently being assessed. Contact Coach Bryan at [email protected] for any questions.

Age Group Meet Next Weekend: CANCELLED

Coach Nick sent out an email regarding our Age Group Meet next weekend (June 19 - 20) due to a lack of officials. We will be running our Senior Meet this weekend, and open it up to our upper Age Group swimmers. We will be entering ALL Discover, Challenge and Accelerate swimmers UNLESS parents tell us they cannot attend. If you wish to DECLINE PARTICIPATION please email Coach Bryan at [email protected] no later than 12pm (NOON) tomorrow. Thank you.

Practice Changes for this Weekend:

Due to the swim meet, there will be NO CLUB TEAM practices held Saturday or Sunday June 12 - 13. SwimFit, Lessons, and PreComp will continue to meet at their normal times.

Thank you to Ella Eastin for Visiting WEST last Weekend!

Our team swimmers had a great time learning IM drills from Ella, and asking her all about her journey to becoming a national team swimmer for Team USA. Ella is currently taking a break from swimming to focus on her health after recovering from COVID-19 last year, but we will cheer on Ella when she chooses to come back to the sport! Photos from the event will be posted to WEST social media as well!
