Colman Bus Departure & Return Times

We are excited to announce this year's Colman Bus schedule. Long Course training is vital as w e do much of our year-over-year endurance building during the summer, taking advantage of the time when swimmers are out of school. We find that swimmers tend to progress considerably following summer training and as a program we work hard to maintain Long Course opportunities for our swimmers. Our team prioritizes Long Course training because it is something that not many teams have access to and it gives our swimmers a distinct competitive advantage. Also, significant team bonding occurs during these Colman practices and on the bus rides to and from practice. Swimmers need to bring a meal and snacks on the bus, and we will also need parent chaperones to sign-up to ride the bus (sign-ups will be sent out separately). 

 

We are still determining the total cost by group and will release that information once participation numbers are finalized. We are planning some group movement that will be announced soon and the cost per person will be adjusted accordingly (more swimmers riding the bus brings the cost per person down). We do not pro-rate the  Colman Bus cost. All swimmers will be billed the full amount, unless you DECLINE to use it ENTIRELY and will be providing your own transportation. As a reminder, attendance at  Colman Pool is MANDATORY and something we consider as we review 'Family Good Standing' when determining  reregistration eligibility year-to-year. Same as our Meet Declaration Process, you will be included and billed UNLESS you notify us that you will not be riding the bus at all. You must notify us by Friday, June 19th to DECLINE participation on the Colman Bus otherwise your account will be billed. 

 

Mondays: 

Bus 1: Senior & Senior Elite - Leaves WEST @ 4:45am. Return to WEST @ 9:45am.

Bus 2: Accelerate & Challenge - Leaves WEST @ 7am pick up Return to WEST @ 11:15am. 

 

Wednesdays: 

Bus 1: Senior & Senior Elite - Leaves WEST @ 6:30am Return to WEST @ 12pm.

Bus 2: Discover - Leaves WEST @ 9:15am. Return to WEST @ 1pm. 

 

Thursdays:

Bus 1: Challenge & Accelerate - Leaves WEST @ 6pm. Returns to WEST @ 10:30pm.
