Read on for some important information:
Summer Team:
Congrats to all our Summer Team swimmers who competed at the meet this past weekend in Marysville! Results are posted on Mighty Marlin’s Website here. This was a good opportunity for swimmers to race and execute skills they have been working on in practice.

Ribbons are being handed out at practices this week. If your swimmer did not get a ribbon, they may not have scored high enough for a ribbon or they were disqualified.

Common disqualifications are being reviewed by coaches to the kiddos, so that swimmers will be better prepared for their final sanctioned meet on August 7th.

Officials want to remind all summer league swimmers about appropriate competitive swimming attire, so please click on the document attached here. WEST has recommended swim attire posted on our SwimOutlet page.

Meet participants NEEDED to declare their meets. There were several opportunities for families to declare their meet attendance. Late entries will not be accepted at this point. Even though our last meet is on August 7th, practices will continue through the 22nd of August. Any questions can be sent in to Coach Bryan at [email protected]

Schedule Changes for the Weekend:
Saturday AM:
7:00 - 9:00am Senior swimmers that are NOT at Divisionals
9:00 - 10:00am Accelerate, Challenge, Discover that are NOT at Divisionals
Explore & Embark: Normal practices on Saturday & Sunday (2:30 - 3:30pm)
Summer Team runs at normally scheduled times Saturday & Sunday
Lessons & Lap Swim run as normal.
Next Week Cancellations:
No Senior Dryland Monday & Wednesday.
Volunteer Requirements for Year Round Families
We appreciate the effort made by our families to satisfy their Service Hours requirements - we can’t run a successful swim team without the help of our volunteers. We reviewed the total number of opportunities for each group and have adjusted them by reducing each group to the following new minimums:
Senior Elite: 24 hours
Senior: 24 hours
Accelerate: 22.5 hours
Challenge: 18 hours
Discover: 18 hours
Explore: 11 hours
Embark: 11 hours
As stated and agreed to in the Registration documents, we will be billing any unfulfilled volunteer hours (below the adjusted requirements) at $20 per hour. Any remaining unfulfilled after being adjusted have been billed, please review your account.
We value the effort of our volunteers and all families who met the original minimum requirements will receive a $100 credit towards next year's registration fee.
