Positive Covid Case at WEST - Saturday 1/8 12-1:30pm
Attention WEST Community,
There has been a report of a confirmed positive Covid case in our Embark Group on the Club Team. This swimmer was last at the pool on Saturday 1/8 between 12-1:30pm. Following the CDC’s release of updated Covid Protocols, we have adjusted our response and will be taking the following action:
Embark Group will be shut down for 5 days from the exposure and will return Saturday 1/15. Other groups and programs running at the same time will continue to operate as normal. Anyone potentially exposed should monitor for symptoms for 10 days, until 1/18.
Anyone that develops Covid symptoms must quarantine for 5 days from the onset of symptoms. This applies to everyone at any time, regardless of exposure. We recommend getting tested after 5 days.
Anyone that tests positive for Covid must quarantine for 10 days from the onset of symptoms or the date of test if asymptomatic.
