Positive Covid Case at WEST - Friday 1/14 5:30-7:00 pm and 7:00 - 7:45pm

Attention WEST Community,

There has been a report of a confirmed positive COVID case in our Discover Group and SwimFit 1 Group (M,W,F). This swimmers were last at the pool on Friday 1/14 between 5:30-7:00 pm and 7:00 - 7:45pm. Per the CDC’s release of updated COVID Protocols, we will be taking the following action:

The Discover Group and SwimFit 1 groups will be shut down for 5 days from the exposure and will return Thursday 1/20 for Discover, and Friday 1/21 for SwimFit 1. Other groups and programs running at the same time will continue to operate as normal. Anyone potentially exposed should monitor for symptoms for 10 days, until 1/24. 

Anyone that develops COVID symptoms must quarantine for 5 days from the onset of symptoms. This applies to everyone at any time, regardless of exposure. We recommend getting tested after 5 days. 

Anyone that tests positive for Covid must quarantine for 10 days from the onset of symptoms or the date of test if asymptomatic.
