Mask Changes Effective 3/21

Mask Update - Effective March 21st, 2022

WEST will be lifting our mask mandate effective Monday 3/21/2022. Although the governor has moved the effective date up for Washington State, we are going to continue to require masks for one more week until 3/21. This airs on the side of caution; especially considering the number of unvaccinated children in lessons and with our end-of-season Championship swim meets only weeks away. 

After 3/21 mask use will be optional and we strongly encourage those who are not vaccinated or at higher risk to continue to use them. We will continue to make them available upon request. We will continue to monitor case numbers and if we see an increase either in our immediate community or surrounding area, we will swiftly reinstate mask use. 

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation thus far and continued commitment towards the safety of our entire community.
