Swimathon 2022 Recap!
Hello WEST Families,
Congrats to all of our swimmers that participated at our Swimathon 2022 event on May 22! Below are the total yards swam for the swimmers that were in attendance for the event. It’s incredibly impressive what our swimmers were able to accomplish!
The whole focus of Swimathon is to share our passion for the sport with our friends, family, and neighbors. Our team engages in friendly competition to see who can raise the most donations, but also who can swim the most yards! As a team, we swam over 591,900 yards this weekend! That's over 336 miles and over 100 miles more than we swam last year! We could swim a relay of our team alone to the Montana border if we were swimming straight across the state!

Donations raised not only help our swimmers and team directly, but it also helps the USA Swimming Foundation get aquatic education to communities in need across the country!
Please review your swimmer’s Swimathon profile to ensure all donations are accounted for. If there are any discrepancies or Corporate Matches that are not showing up correctly, contact Coach Tim at [email protected] and/or send a screenshot of the corporate match. We have some donations that are not assigned to any swimmer and we want them to be accounted for! Top earners so far are:

It’s not too late! WEST’s Swimathon portal will be open to get in any last minute donations until May 28th! If families have not met their minimum fundraising requirement for fundraising, the remaining will be billed on June 1st.
