COVID Positive Cases

UPDATE: We have had more club team swimmers email in positive cases.

 

Dear WEST Community,

 

We've been notified that we had a coach employee test positive for Covid as well as other swimmers from our competitive team. Individuals who were at WEST during the following times should consider themselves exposed and take necessary precautions.

 

 

Swim Picnic on Friday, 7/1/2022 from 12:30 - 2:30pm

Challenge and Accelerate practice Saturday 7/2/2022 8:00 - 10:00am

Explore Practice Wednesday 6/29/2022 1:30 - 3:00pm

 

We will continue operating as normal but ask that everyone closely monitor for symptoms. Anyone with symptoms should stay out and get tested. Swimmers can return to WEST with a negative test result and improving symptoms. 

 

As a reminder, anyone with a confirmed Covid case needs to stay out of the water (where they are unable to be masked) for 10 days since the onset of symptoms or date of Covid test if asymptomatic. Employees who can remain masked may return to work after 5 days and wear a mask.
