Like many businesses across many different industries, we are facing significant staff shortages. Swim Meet weekends and last minute employee emergencies are placing additional pressure on an already strained situation and we have zero wiggle room. Our full-time coaches have been covering as needed, but working 7 days and well over 40 hours a week to do so. This is not sustainable long-term and we cannot risk losing our key employees. WEST Community, We regret to inform everyone that we recently had a positive Covid case in our Tues / Thurs Embark 2 group. The swimmer last attended practice Thursday 10/7, became symptomatic Friday 10/8 and received a positive Covid test result today, Saturday 10/9. Hello WEST Community, It is with regret we must inform everyone we've had a swimmer from our Pre-Comp group test positive for COVID-19. This person tested positive on Friday 9/24 and was last at the facility Thursday 9/23 between the hours of 5:45pm and 6:45pm. As a precautionary measure, the Tue/Thu/Sun Pre-Comp group will be canceled through Sunday 10/3 and will resume on Tuesday 10/5. Hello WEST Community, To clarify, lap/ open swim will reopen TODAY (9/18) at 4:30pm due to the swim meet. Lap / open swim will run normal hours through 7:00pm.
