Hello WEST Families, Hooray! Colman practices are happening this year! They will start Monday, June 28th and continue until Thursday, July 29th. We are making arrangements for the Colman Bus to drive swimmers from WEST to Colman Pool in West Seattle. The cost per person is listed by group, please note these costs are based on everyone in the group riding the bus. While taking advantage of the Colman Bus is optional, these practices are mandatory and a major component to year-over-year training and team bonding for the kiddos. Swimmers...

We plan to implement a phased approach as we return to normal operations. With Washington State set to fully reopen on June 30th, we will gradually be relaxing our restrictions for vaccinated individuals. By announcing these changes ahead of time and in phases, we want to give our employees and families the opportunity to get vaccinated prior to the restrictions fully lifting on June 30th. The lake is warming up and we are just about ready to start some Open Water training. With our summer meet schedule still getting finalized, we will announce more Open Water opportunities as they arise. Wetsuits are mandatory but if you don't have one, don't worry! West purchased several wetsuits from BlueSeventy to start a rental program. Swimmers may use one of the team wetsuits for $10 per day, which will help recoup what we spent on them.
