Hello WEST Families, After the announcement earlier this week, WEST is incredibly thankful to be open and will continue to strive to ensure that policies are enforced for the safety of our patrons and staff members alike. At this point, we have seen communications from both the Washington Department of Health and Washington Recreation and Parks Association indicating that "Water Recreation Facilities (WRF) are separate from indoor fitness facilities. WRF's are allowed to continue operating under current guidelines. This also applies to swim teams. Dear West Community, As most of you are aware, Gov. Inslee has released new restrictions that go into effect tomorrow, Monday 11/16 at 11:59pm. It is unclear at this time whether aquatics will be included in the restrictions on indoor fitness or will continue to be treated separately. Sources within the State are indicating that aquatics will be unaffected and continue to fall under the guidelines that came out in October.
