Hello WEST Families, We hope everyone is doing well as the temperature drops outside, and winter weather starts to roll in. Luckily, our swimmers are able to stay warm and cozy in our heated pool thanks to our hard working boilers and air handler! Make sure to pack extra clothes, hats, gloves, and a warm jacket to stay healthy as you leave the pool - as locker rooms are still closed for changing. If you want to stay up to date with important information, please read the following: WEST Open...
In an effort to remain transparent, we want to provide everyone with an update following our member testing positive last week. Our lifeguard that was on duty and potentially exposed received a negative covid test result yesterday. We have not received word of anyone else from water aerobics showing symptoms or testing positive. We believe the case last week was isolated and contained. We have some reassurance that our Covid protocols are working and in our initial belief that the pool is not an easily transmittable place. However, we cannot...
Hello WEST Members, To encourage safety at our a facility, WEST Management has added cleaned plastic bins that will be at the end of each lane so that ALL swimmers can place their masks in them while they swim so that they do not get wet. This also gives our patrons the ability to wear their masks directly to their lanes so that we are actively encouraging the use of masks at ALL times throughout the facility, and making it the last article that they remove before immediately hopping into...

Hello WEST Families, Great job to all of our club team swimmers that competed at our first successfully sanctioned meet this season! The Governor's office just released an update to their recent changes allowing competitive swim teams to have a maximum of 4 swimmers per lane. This is a major reassurance that we have been operating safely and can now continue to do so. We will not be making any further changes to the schedule at this time. Thank you for your patience and continued support. Coach Nick
Dear West Swim Team Families, Governor Inslee recently updated his reopening guidelines for Aquatic Centers, defining the maximum number of swimmers per lane for swim teams to 2 swimmers. Additionally, there are updated the formulas for calculating maximum facility capacity. Our maximum capacity has been reduced from 42 to 37 patrons, excluding staff. All our programs have been running well under this limit, so no changes are necessary to the number of people in the facility at one time. Regarding swim team practice, we are going to have to adjust...
