PST This Week - 5/26/24

This Wednesday - PST Town Hall:

We will be announcing changes to our team structure for the 2024/25 swim season including fee increases, service hour adjustments, group structure changes, and more.

Every family that is planning to continue with PST should make every effort to join us virtually via Google Meet on Wednesday, May 29th at 7pm. A 1 hour service hour credit will be given to every family attending (ensure to list your full name when joining to receive credit).

LCM Training Opportunities:

We secured LCM times starting June 11th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Contra Costa Community College and will share the pool with our friends from Albany Armada Aquatics.

Platinum swimmers with Senior 2 times can attend all sessions without having to register beforehand. They can then choose to take either Sunday or Monday off, but they cannot miss any other practices.

We are also offering limited LCM practice opportunities to the rest of the team. Although we hope the team can stay in the same hotel, we understand that families have different preferences when traveling. Fortunately there are many hotels in Reno that are a short distance from the Grand Sierra that can accommodate families' various needs.

SafeSport:

The Athlete's Declaration is a statement created by Olympic athletes for athletes within the Olympic Movement that outlines a set of aspirational rights and responsibilities including providing the support they deserve, the right to fair competition, practicing sport without discrimination, clean sporting environment, protection of mental and physical health, freedom of expression, privacy, and contributing for the betterment of all. In the spirit of the countdown to the summer games, it’s inspiring to see what these amazing athletes were empowered to create and what they are capable of when coming together.
