Occoquan Swim Team
Occoquan Swim Team (OCCS) is a year-round competitive swim team with over 600 members, ages 5-18 training for success. Our mission is to develop the character traits, technical skills, work ethic, and intense desire necessary for maximal realization of each individual’s potential, both as a person and as a competitive swimmer.
Since 1986, OCCS has been helping kids swim in the highest levels of USA Swimming. In 2019 swimmers competed locally around Virginia, DC and Maryland and also traveled to North Carolina, Florida, California and Arizona for nationwide events.
In 2020, the team will travel to Florida, Georgia, Texas, Nebraska, Tennessee, Indiana and California as well as compete in local competitions in the DMV. With the excitement of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, there will be tremendous plublicity around competitive swimming.
