MEET INFORMATION
Dual Meets:
- Dual Meets are competitions between two high school swim and dive teams. More information on order of events and scoring can be found in the Andover High School Swimming & Diving Dual Meet Guide.
Meet transportation:
- Bus transportation for home and away swim meets is provided by the district.
- HOME MEETS: Athletes are bused to Fred Moore Pool. Athletes may drive themselves or carpool. Athletes are required to have a ride home from Fred Moore Pool - THERE IS NO RETURN BUS AFTER HOME MEETS. Athletes are responsible for helping take down equipment after home meets.
- AWAY MEETS: Bus transportation is provided for athletes to and from away meets. Parents/guardians must notify the coaches if their athlete will not ride on the return bus.
Schedule changes:
- Make sure to double-check the team calendar before events as schedules can change.
Meet tips for parents/fans:
- Dress in layers as the pool area will be very warm and humid - even in the frigid fall and winter months.
- Dual-swim meets (meets against one other team) typically last 2 - 3 hours.
- Invitational and championship meets typically last 3 - 5 hours.
- It is recommended that athletes bring a healthy snack and water with them to all meets.
- Volunteers are needed for home meets, including:
- Timers and Head Timer;
- Concessions; and
- Chuck-a-Duck.
- Typical admission costs for adults are $6.00 - $10.00 and for students are $4.00 - $8.00 (Tickets for most meets must be purchased online)

- Away Meets - Go to host school website for link to purchase
- Volunteers at home meets get free admission.
- Concessions are available at most dual-meets and invitational/championship meets.
- Cash may be needed for concessions.
