BAM News: No Practice on Memorial Day and Saturday Practice Change
Happy Wednesday, BAM!
In light of this week’s pool adventures (Monday: aquatic center evacuated due to fire alarm; Tuesday: practice cancelled due to power outage; Wednesday: no issues; Thursday, Friday…?), we are working on a method to contact BAMmers via text message in the event of a schedule disruption. News for the week:
- No practice on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27. The pool will be open for lap swim. (Did this sneak up on anyone else? How did we get to Memorial Day so quickly?)
- Slight change to Saturday practices: the first practice is shifting 5 minutes later and will now be from 6:05a to 7:20a. This will allow swimmers a little time to get through the locker rooms and ready to swim after the doors open at 6:00a. The second practice will remain at its regularly scheduled time, 7:25a to 8:40a.

- The BAM Boosters still have some shirts and sweatshirts for sale. Men’s crew neck short-sleeve shirts in Large and Medium ($22); Women’s v-neck shirts in Large, Medium, and Small ($22); and unisex hoodies in Large and Medium ($37). To make a purchase, put your payment and a note indicating what item you’d like to buy (including size) in an envelope, and put the envelope in the blue BAM box in the pool lobby.
