News for the week:
- The Park District has scheduled two informational meetings for those who would like to learn more about the bond measure for the expansion of the Ray pool.
- Traffic Alert: The last day of school is coming! (Thank goodness.) Expect traffic disruptions during school hours in the area around the pool for much of next week.
- Friday, Monday, and Tuesday, June 14, 17, and 18: Final Exams. Bainbridge High School releases before noon.
- Saturday, June 15: Graduation. Congratulations class of 2024!
- Tuesday, June 18: Effective last day of school for most high schoolers
- Wednesday, June 19: Juneteenth – No School
- Thursday, June 20: Last day of school for all BISD schools. Students dismissed before noon.
- The Green Lake Aqua Ducks (GLAD) are offering LCM (long course meters) workouts this summer, Saturday mornings at the Colman Pool in West Seattle (Lincoln Park). Cost is $15, payable at least 12 hours prior to the workout.
- June 30 is the last day to register for the PNA LCM Meet. There are no BAMmers on the list yet… will you be the first?
- July 27 is Fat Salmon. Currently has -15 spots open. (There are 365 people signed up for 350 spots. I’m side-eyeing the registration page.)
