BAM News: BAMFest
Happy Wednesday, BAM!
Construction on the way to the pool, construction in front of the pool, construction at the pool… the fact that people still show up to practice is a testament to the dedication of this team.
News for the week:
- BAMFest is on Sunday, October 6th. Sign up to swim, without delay – there’s a cap on the number of swimmers, and the meet is filling up faster than usual. Registration closes on September 29, just a week and a half from now, or as soon as 160 swimmers have signed up.
- Thank you to the many BAMmers who have already signed up to volunteer – it takes everyone’s help to pull off an event like BAMFest. Not yet signed up? Whether you have 30 minutes or all day, we have a role you can fill! Please take a look at the volunteer opportunities and sign up for one that works for you.
- Coach April is holding special Starts-and-Turns practices on Tuesdays at 11:45 for the next two weeks leading up to BAMFest. Sign up for these practices in the weekly SignUpGenius.
