BAM News: Good Luck, BAMmers!, Hearing Aid, and Ray Pool Project Updates

Bainbridge Aquatic Masters

Happy Wednesday, BAM!

It’s backstroke week – woohoo! I’m living the good life.
(I will not be as enthused when breaststroke week comes around.)

Best wishes for fast times to Barney Voegtlen, Melissa Cheadle, Marcus Cziesla, Brigette Yates, Brian Allen, Steve Wald, Jocelyn Waite, and Rod Stevens as they swim at the Snohomish Aquatics Masters Invitational Meet this weekend!

News for the week:

  • Did you lose a hearing aid? A hearing aid was found on the pool deck at the end of a practice last week. It has been turned in to the front desk.
  • Interested in updates on the Ray Williamson Pool Rehabilitation Project? The Park District has construction updates and information on the BIParks webpage. Want to know how the construction will affect your swim schedule, or have other questions? The BIAquatics webpage has program and schedule updates, and a FAQ.
  • Traffic report: The construction work on Madison isn’t finished yet, but wow! the newly paved road is nice.

Here’s the SignUpGenius link for next week, November 11th to November 16th. The SignUpGenius link goes live at 7:00pm Wednesday. At that time, those of you who registered for Level 1 can claim 1 swim. Level 2 can claim 2 swims. Level 3 can claim 3 swims. On Sunday, November 10th at 7:00pm, the restrictions come off for Level 3 athletes to claim the remaining swim times.

Here’s the link: BAM SignUpGenius Nov 11-Nov 16

See you at the pool.
