BAM News: BAM Booster Pizza Party, Andi Hunt Races Again, and Tom Reveley Passes

Good luck to Andi Hunt this weekend at the USMS Spring Nationals in San Antonio, Texas! It seems like just like week I was touting her success at PNA Champs….
In sadder news, I learned yesterday that BAMmer Tom Reveley passed away in November after a 6-year battle with cancer. Tom joined BAM in 2020 and swam in his first meet, BAMFest 2023, at the age of 85! We miss you, Tom.

Did you get the email? The BAM Boosters are hosting a pizza party on Saturday, May 3, from 5 to 8 at Grace Episcopal Church. RSVP by May 1 st to join the fun! (Didn’t get the email? Send a message to [email protected] and ask to be put on the mailing list.)

For one more week, practice will be monitored to see if more BAMmers sign up for what are (so far) our smallest practices. If these practices continue to be sparsely attended, then the pool space will be released for other programming.

Since the SignUp doesn’t close, if you suddenly find yourself available to swim at lunch time, or on an early Saturday morning, then you can sign up and come on in!

Our Tuesday and Thursday 12:30 and 1:30 coaches, Kate and Leilani, are giving great personalized feedback at the practices with the fewest swimmers! If you are looking for more time in the pool, these practices are a great choice.
