BAM News: Ray Construction Update, Tom Reveley Memorial, and Schedule Changes

Happy news: Have you heard? The Ray pool will temporarily reopen for the fall and winter, between phases 1 and 2 of construction! You can read more details on the

Somber news: There is a memorial service for Tom Reveley this Sunday, May 25, at 1:00 PM at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church, with a reception to follow at Wing Point Country Club. Feel free to send me an email (

News for the week:

There will be no practice this Sunday or Monday due to the Memorial Day holiday.

Starting in June: a single 12:30-1:45p practice will replace the current dual practices on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Note that this practice will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long, and is open to all BAMmers.

Registration for Fat Salmon has closed! In a return to its pre-pandemic behavior, it filled not long after registration opened and far in advance of the registration end date. Best of luck to Ellie, Quynh-Anh, Dac, Drew, Ruth, Jessica and Ali on July 26 th! Please contact April as soon as possible if you’d like to join a team carpool in the Park District van.
