Happy Wednesday, BAM!
It is my pleasure to announce that the Bainbridge Island Park District is honoring BAMmer Cindy Ruggiero for her volunteer work coordinating the BAM Angels for the last decade. This group of BAMmers quietly, unobtrusively, and anonymously supports BAMmers who are facing challenges in their lives, fostering a team spirit that extends beyond the pool.

Another change to the practice line-up: starting Sunday, June 15, the two practices at Olympic High School are being combined into a single “Race Rehearsal” practice from 3:00 to 4:30.

Ninety-seven Puget Sound Masters (PSM) swimmers have signed up for Nationals, including six BAMmers. Join Meegan, Larry, Ken B, Andi, Tamara, and Steve L, along with Coach April, in Federal Way this August! Very few events at last year’s Summer Nationals had more than 25 swimmers per age group, and most of them were in the 18-24 and 25-29 age brackets. You, too, could be a top 25 swimmer at Nationals! You don’t have to be fast – you just have to take the plunge.
