BAM News: July Birthdays, July 4th Holiday Schedule, 50m Time Trial, and Timers Needed for Nationals

No practice on Friday, July 4. The pool will be closed for the holiday.

But don’t be sad about missing practice – represent the Aquatic community in the parade, instead! The Park District (BIMPRD) is celebrating 60 years of operating in the Bainbridge Island community. Part of the celebration is being at the beginning of the July 4th parade! They are looking for at least 5 more Aquatic participants to walk the parade and represent! Because the Aquatic Center was opened in the 1970s, all Aquatic participants are encouraged to dress in 1970s garb. No practice on Sunday, July 6. “Race Rehearsal” will be at the 50m Time Trial at KCAC in Federal Way. Sign up now; registration closes on Tuesday, July 1.

Timers needed for Summer Nationals! BAM has agreed to provide twenty timers from 11:30 to 4:00 on Wednesday, August 6. Interested in hanging out with your teammates while getting a front-row seat to watch competitors race for the title of “Best 1500m Free Masters Swimmer in the Nation”? SignUp to time at Nationals!
