BAM News, Nationals Edition: Days 1 and 2
Hello BAMmers!
United States Masters Long Course Nationals is well underway here at Federal Way! 30 BAMmers join 200 additional athletes of the Puget Sound region to swim under one banner: Puget Sound Masters.
Day 1: The Mile!
Andi Hunt(75-79) and Barbara Belt(70-74), were the first to hit the water for BAM, and both had strong swims and races for the entire mile. Andi took 3rd and Barbara took 6th in their respective age groups! Many thanks to Deb Flynn who not only volunteered in the Hospitality room, but also counted for both swimmers in the mile!
Additionally, the BAM Booster board led the way with the 18 BAMmers who came to time for the 5 hour shift. The meet couldn't run without timers!
