Please don’t be alarmed by the theme of this week’s SignUpGenius. It’s just wishful thinking on my part; there is no snow in the forecast for the foreseeable future. Unless you’re visiting the Cascades – they’re about to enjoy a hefty snowfall.

Please check the attached document to confirm that you are registered with USMS for 2026. If your name is not on the list, please renew your USMS membership before participating in any BAM practices.

The Bellevue Masters Mile is open for registration! Join BAMmers Andi Hunt and Larry Hile in Bellevue on Sunday, February 1 st. Don’t procrastinate – there’s an event maximum of 70 entries and there are already 38 people signed up.

Are you planning to enter the USMS 1-Hour Virtual Championships, where swimmers see how far they can swim in one hour? If so, please send an email to Coach April ( [email protected]); if there’s enough interest, she’ll try to reserve lanes in Ray during an afternoon in January.

Happy 2026! If you’re participating in the Go the Distance challenge from USMS, it’s time to start logging your swims. How far will you go this year?
