BAM News: Regular Schedule on Monday, Masters Mile, and Go the Distance
Happy Wednesday, BAM.
Still waiting for snow….
News for the week:
-
Practices will follow their regular schedule on Martin Luther King Day (Monday, January 19).
-
Only 10 spots left in the Bellevue Masters Mile, to be held on Sunday, February 1 st. Can you keep up with BAMmers Andi Hunt and Larry Hile?
-
USMS Go the Distance: USMS swimmers across the US have collectively logged over 11,000 miles so far this year, and we’re not even half-way through January! Puget Sound Masters (which includes BAM) is currently the fifth largest team with 17 swimmers ; if just ten more BAMmers sign up we’ll be the largest eam, and more importantly, have a larger team than Oregon! It’s free, so why not?
-
Head’s up: SignUpGenius appears to be updating their website, and not without a few hiccups. (Anyone else getting four email reminders for every practice that they’re signed up for?) As part of this process, they are automatically logging people out of their accounts. Make sure you are logged in before signing up, or you won’t be able to change your SignUps if your schedule changes. Check the upper right corner of the web page to see if you’re logged in – if you see your initials or picture, you are logged in; if you see “Log In”, then you need to log in.
See you at the pool.
